Just wanted to let you know that your DVD was a BIG hit at Christmas. Thank you very much.Everyone really enjoyed it. Also, my Aunt Lorraine Nugent has sent me back with 48 reels (I counted the big ones twice) of 8 mm films. I gave her an idea of what it might cost, but if you could give me a quote to give her that would be great. She would want the same package as mine. The majority of her reels are more organized and have labels on them, so I already may have a good portion of them organized chronologically. If there is any other information you need in order to give me a quote just let me know.
Second, I brought back all of my Dad’s slides and am organizing them. Thankfully, he had a slide viewer and that has been very helpful. This will take me quite a while as they range from the 1940s to the 1970s. Just wanted to let you know that I will have another project for you in the next couple of months.

Joe Padavic did a great job of capturing my family’s 8mm & super 8mm home movies. Joe accommodated my every request; Joe captured my movies as avi so that I could edit them and put in my own chapters and titles. We did receive the DVDs on Wed and of course looked at them right away.They were great and we sure appreciate your prompt service. The second two DVDs were outstanding in quality but the first was older film that had deteriorated from age or possible from a cheaper brand. Even so , they all brought back fond memories of us and our family and friends when we were all younger. These films we and our kids would never have had the great pleasure of seeing again if you had not made it possible by transfering them to DVDs.

Hi Joe,I got everything in the mail, thanks for sending that along! I talked with my Dad to be sure, and he is very happy with the final product. I think it was just his DVD player that was the problem (plus he is hard of hearing, which doesn’t help). When he could hear the music clearly, he did actually like the selections on the second disk. In fact, he said that he really appreciated the time you took to pick out the music selections for all of the scenes, and that you did a great job of bringing more feeling to the video rather than just watching them in silence. Thanks again for all of the work you did on this for us! You exceeded our expectations, and we are very happy with the finished product! I would definitely recommend you to anyone else I know of who would need these services, so if you ever need a testimonial, let me know!
